GAME SAVING CATCH AT THE WALL TO SECURE THE PENNANT!! This is my kind of place. Down home and laid back. Slow down and enjoy your food, bro. I had the smoked pulled chicken, baked beans, and green beans with apple cobbler dessert. The chicken was excellent and one of the sauces is the famous Alabama white vinegar sauce. Incredible combination. The baked and green beans were both delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service was excellent.

I got the brisket meal and it was really good also got a side of Mac and cheese and potato salad. The portions from the sides were really small but plenty of flavor. They had several tables that needed to be cleaned and had a hard time finding a clean table but food is really good and the staff is helpful

By far the best BBQ spot in New Market and Huntsville area. The chicken was seasoned well. The banana pudding and apple cobbler taste like my grandma made it. Absolutely amazing. The loaded pulled pork potato was top tier. The loaded Nachos were absolutely amazing! Great beer prices. The service was amazing. We will definitely be back! 10 out of 10 it is a must try if you live in the New Market and Huntsville area. **It was so good we went 2 days in a row***

Loved this place. Classic barbecue joint with picnic table style and booth seating. Self serve fountain drink, plastic ware, to go boxes, and house made sauces station. They did get my order wrong but seemed glad to fix it immediately. Great staff that seemed to work well together and kept the place clean. Everything was great, even the toast. The fried foods were crispy and the meats were juicy. I really enjoyed the fried squash, and there was plenty to share. Ribs fell off the bone, brisket was tender, and the catfish had a delicate flake. Would definitely come back again.

Great food, fair price and great service! Love the Loaded Nachos!!! (2024) Feb 2025, we love it so much we had stop in again, same great service and amazing food, that brisket is tender and juicy!!!

Ok, so I understand why people say it’s so good. Service was fantastic. Sweetest lady took my order and I opted for the brisket nachos. She recommended that I get ranch on the side and I did. What you see below is before and I literally finished the whole thing. The brisket was sooooooooo good tender and literally melted like butter in your mouth. I just loved all of the smiles. I will definitely return. Peach cobbler yummy. But don’t take my word for it come see for yourself. Later foodies! Also, all of this food was 11.50 plus 3 for brisket!

We had tried their wings that a friend had brought to an event. They were delicious. So, we decided to try everything today. Lol, we got ribs, brisket, and smoked wings for meats. We also got greens, baked beans, both coleslaws, fried okra, fried squashed, and potato salad, All of this was delicious. We both preferred the mayonnaise based coleslaw. For the dessert, we got banana pudding and peach cobbler. They were good but not great. The cobbler was a little soft for our taste. But please make your own decision.

Boarhog’s is my go to BBQ spot and well worth the drive from Madison. Their portions and food is unmatched. There is always a pretty solid line so it’s good to have someone with you who can grab a table while you wait to order. Food comes out pretty fast considering how many people they serve. It’s a little tight seating when it’s packed but that’s just a testament to what a wonderful community cornerstone they are! I’m a sucker for loaded potato’s and look at the size of this thing! Piled with pulled pork and absolutely delicious. My mom got the catfish and gave me a piece and it was also awesome. Highly recommend!
